We provide blood donation and transfusion services for national armed forces and general public tai-Chung area. Since our government expanded the national health insurance to cover all soldiers February 2001,we,ve been increasing the quality and safety of blood handling to provide better service.
Pathology Department
In our department, diagnosis is based on pathological tissue samples, therefore the causes of diseases play as the role of judges on clinical diagnosis. We can therefore provide accurate diagnosis, therapy, research, and prevention. So the importance of pathological checkup is not only to protect patients and doctors, it also helps advance medical improvement and development.
Anasthesia Department
Our hospital is an area educational hospital. We are equipped with diverse advanced anasthesia equipment. The ages of our patients range from newborn babies to 108 year-olds. We will keep following our spirit of serving patients, and will keep increasing our medical quality. We hope we will serve more patients and provide them the highest safety and highest quality.
Rehabilitation Department
Because of the rapid development of medicine and progress of techniques, all of our caring methods, equipment, and traditional medical methods have been changed and improved significantly. Facing such a new learning environment, rehabilitatists need to strengthen their medical knowledge, same step medicine to increase medical level. Our equipment includes physical therapy equipment and functional therapy equipment, therefore we provide a complete rehabilitation service. To lift up plural rehabilitation medical quality, we bring in many advanced equipment with advanced features.
Psychiatric Department
When the importance of psychiatric therapy emphasizes on wholeness and continual caring today, profession exerts its role function at different stages. After the establishment of this department, we have worked on the professional teaching and training our psychiatrists. With everyone's effort, we have gradually established professional consensus.
Nuclear Medicine
This department was established in 1984. We set up two teams under it, which include nuclear medical photo-taking and radiation immune analysis. Nuclear medicine uses isotopes and its compound to discover and diagnose diseases, understanding physical, anatomical, functional, and organizational clues. The isotope follows the chemical and physical organization of the body and forms a change between organ organization spread (distribution) which helps clinical doctors rapidly acquire an accurate diagnosis.
Department of pharmacy
In our hospital, we set up out-patient and inpatient drugs dispention¡Bdrug quality control¡Bmanagement¡Bpreparation and cinical pharmacy. We have also established leaders and responsible pharmacists. In normal times we need to match the needs of national armed forces and support all kinds of free medical services. Except for general drug dispention and preparation, we value clinical pharmaceutical service. We also support occupation education and intern environment to increase our pharmacists' professional knowledge and to propose new professional pharmacists, further increasing our medical service quality.
Oto-rhino-laryngology Department
We retain caring, efficient and devoted spirits to serve patients. We believe that only professional skill can provide care for patients. Therefore, we promote continuing education and lively studying to increase professional skill. We are working on developing research.
