Dental Department
We have three directors, three dentists, and six resident dentists. Directors and dentists have all received training from medical centers. Resident dentists are under the guidance of dentists.
Orthopedic Department
Orthopedics used to be a division of surgery, but because of progress in techniques, now it is its on its own , and it has developed rapidly. Because of research and knowledge related to orthopedics, and increased patients, we now have an organized team of five main doctors, six resident doctors, and eight technicians to serve patients.
Laboratory Exam Department
Examination report is the necessary reference for clinical doctors to diagnose patients. Its importance to clinical medicine is increasing every day. To expand service, we have finished the first stage of inspection equipment connection and a computerized operation system. We have also simplified the operation process to shorten the waiting time for reports. Moreover, we have actively established a new type molecule while logic inspection technique, looking to provide the newest inspection service in the future, and to be in conformity of the trend in clinical needs.
Optical Department
In 1949, we had this department & refounded in Taichung after civil war. In 1980. We moved from northern Taichung to Taipin city. From that time, we set up modern Ophthalmic microsurgery room, variety laser treatment for retina and after cataract, and Diagnostic equipment(Flurescein angioguphy. Electro physical exam.,etc). In 2003,We earn the only one ophthalmic teaching hospital in Taichung county.Today ,We provide LASIK for refractive correction.
Obs/Gyn Department
This department has an excellent tradition. We provide the best service for soldiers' relatives and the women in our community. There is regular interaction with all big medical services. We also send our doctors to Medical centers both in Taiwan and internationally so they can have more broadening experiences and the newest skills so that we can provide high-quality standard for our patients.
Pediatric Department
We have an intensive care unit (ICU), a sick baby room, a normal baby room, a check-up room, and an emergency room. We passed the evaluation and are qualified as a pediatric specialty training hospital. Our intensive care room is also certified. We believe that prevention is better than curing. Our medical service is fully adequate. We also hold maternity classes periodically, and we send information about epidemic diseases to parents to help them prevent their children from getting ill.
